Ardmore Music Hall is one of the premier independent music venues in the Northeast for nationally touring concerts, and our location at 23 East has a storied history of 40+ years of shows as a rock club. Located just 3 miles outside Philadelphia PA on the Main Line, AMH serves fans of the western suburbs and Philly proper alike, and hosts programming ranging from rock & roll to funk, jam, roots, adult contemporary, hip hop, Americana and everything in between.
A concert venue established in 2013, Ardmore Music Hall has played host to a wide variety of legendary world class talent on its stage- George Clinton & P-Funk, The Hooters, Toots & the Maytals, The Disco Biscuits, The Psychedelic Furs, Stanley Clarke, Television, Snarky Puppy, members of the Grateful Dead & Phish, Ghostface Killah, Macy Gray, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Dr. John, Steve Earle and Railroad Earth are just a few of the all time greats to visit our humble town of Ardmore PA.
Known as the 23 East Cabaret from 1980-1994 and Brownies 23 East from 1995-2012, the club has hosted legendary musicians within its 4 walls for more than 4 decades. The room’s talent history includes Phish, Dave Matthews Band, The Ramones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hootie & the Blowfish, Blues Traveler, The Hooters, The Pretenders and countless other greats.
The club is independently owned, operated and booked. Chris Perella- head booker and owner since 2014- teamed in 2019 with Peter Martin & Biff Gottehrer of sister restaurant The Ripplewood to create an unparalleled fan and artist experience. Ripplewood has been awarded 3 bells by Craig Laban and Chef Gottehrer’s thumbprint puts the overall experience at Ardmore Music Hall over the top. Perella managed The Blockley between 2009 and 2013, and he and production managers Jesse Soifer and Julian Booker along with the entire extended Ardmore family have helped introduce and support many notable artists in the Philly market – Gary Clark Jr., The Revivalists, Big Gigantic, Greensky Bluegrass, Twiddle, Action Bronson, Andra Day, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Tipper, Lettuce, Turkuaz, Dopapod, Papadosio, Juicy J, Spafford, Goose, Billy Strings & many others.
Ardmore Music Hall features a state-of-the-art sound system, wide open dance floor, amazing balcony seating & GA areas, 4 bars on 2 floors, an intimate stage, premium downstairs seating, and a full bar with 20+ draughts and plentiful cocktail and wine options, along with a full food menu curated by our Ripplewood partners.
The venue is located at 23 East Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore PA, 19003, and is easily accessible by public transit with the R5 regional SEPTA train line. The Ardmore station drops off 100 feet from our back door.
